Sources say  will be the focus of the Costume Institute's spring exhibition
The enigmatic designer and woman behind  will reportedly be the sole subject next spring. It would mark only the second time a living designer has been honored by the museum with a solo exhibition, after a Yves Saint Laurent show in 1983. A Met spokeswoman declined comment to WWD.

A movie depicting the relationship between the late British designer and his muse, the late fashion editor Isabella Blow, is in the works. Entitled "The Ripper," the film will document the tumultuous friendship between the designer and the fashion editor, and will be produced by Maven Pictures with Gesha-Marie Bland as screenwriter. The iconic duo frequently collaborated together and continue to be recognized for their contributions to the industry.

It's all in the art of trickle down fashion-nomics. Trends start at the top on the runways, then move to high-end boutiques, then to department stores, and finally to our favorite shops. Unfortunately the vinyl trench coat trend is still hanging out around the top, but it's only a matter of time until we can get our paws on a reasonably-priced one.

Vinyl trenches are like the child of Harriet the Spy and Catwoman. It's undeniable: wearing one will make you feel like an incredibly cool and stylish secret agent. (And what could be better than that, really?)

Adele Just Ditched Her Signature Cat Eye And Still Looks Amazing

If there’s one thing Adele’s known for other than her heart-wrenching lyric and spine chilling vocals, it’s her signature cat eye. Everyone is so eager to learn how Adele flicks her winged liner so perfectly, that her makeup artist Michael Ashton went as far as filming his own tutorial. She’s usually seen pairing the look with flushed cheeks and nude or red lipstick, but she shocked us with her latest beauty move.

Adele decided to switch things for a change by removing her cat eye entirely, all while documenting the process for her 16.2 million Instagram followers. As she stopped in Phoenix, Arizona for her sold-out US tour, Adele posted a photo of herself literally wiping off her eyeliner, followed by another photo sans liner. It turns out that she was actually beating a terrible cold and had to cancel her performance, and in turn treated the world to some makeup-free selfies.
